The City Walker – A Multi-Page Travel Blog Website Built with Mountain Pack
The City Walker is a dynamic and engaging travel blog website designed for explorers, city lovers, and adventure seekers. A medium-sized website created as a Mountain Package, this project showcases how a clean, modern design can support a wide range of content, while maintaining a strong and consistent brand identity. With the D.I.Y. Branding and Logo Bolt-On options, this website demonstrates the power of having a variety of logo formats for passionate bloggers looking to launch their online presence.
This multi-page website includes several core sections:
A stylish Home Page that highlights featured blog posts and visually introduces the site’s purpose.
An About Page that shares the story behind The City Walker, offering readers insight into the person behind the blog.
Two dedicated Blog Sections, each with its own focus and layout:
Places Blog: Showcasing personal travel experiences, guides, and location-based stories from around the world.
Travel Tips Blog: Packed with helpful advice, hacks, and resources for travellers of all types—from weekend explorers to full-time digital nomads.
Each blog category features a collection of Featured Posts, hand-picked to appear on the homepage for easy access and greater visibility. This not only enhances the user experience, but also supports strong internal linking and improves SEO performance.
The City Walker is an excellent example of how a well-organized blog site structure, paired with thoughtful branding and smart content strategy, can create a memorable digital presence. Whether you're building a personal travel diary or a full-scale blog, this project shows how the right template and add-ons can bring your vision to life.
